Long Plain First Nation, Treaty 1 Territory – Chief Dennis Meeches and Council wish to extend an invite to witness a ceremony to bless the grounds of where the new Wyndham Garden Hotel will stand on the first Urban Reserve in Winnipeg, the Long Plain Madison Reserve located on Treaty 1 territory. The ceremony will take place Wednesday July 29, 2020, beginning at 11:00am.

The Wyndham Garden Winnipeg is expected to include a total of 132-guestrooms offering a variety of guestroom sizes and bed configurations appealing to both commercial and leisure guests
Other amenities are expected to include:
– Fitness Centre – Indoor pool and waterslide
– Approximately 5,800 sf of flexible meeting space
– Approximately 5,000 sf of retail and office space (to be leased)
– A restaurant and lounge offering VLT machines (to be leased)
– On-site parking for up to 230 vehicles, sundry marketplace and snack bar
